TASTING TAP FOR NEW VATS

Exchangestillers 4 times more reliable

Whether to carry out sensory, chemical or microbiological analyses, the HECLIPSE tasting tap provides reliable samples in an extremely short time. Its innovative technology limits the areas to be cleaned while making them accessible. The results are convincing and are highlighted in the study carried out by the ISVV (Institut de la Vigne et du Vin) and presented in theCahiers Techniques of the Revue Française d’Oenologie n°305 (May/June 2021).

A guaranteed flow rate even during vinification

A clogged tasting tap during winemaking represents a significant and unpredictable loss of time during an intense period of work. The technology of the HECLIPSE tasting tap ensures that you can take your samples even in the most difficult situations.

The HECLIPSE guillotine mechanically removes all the grape skins which could block the tap from the inside.

An ergonomic and secure tasting tap

HECLIPSE is equipped with quarter-turn actuation offering precise and very fast flow management. Its washer safety system prevents any unintentional opening.

Avoids the risk of contamination of the tank

To avoid contamination of tanks, it is essential to use food grade fittings. These are easily dismantled and the parts in contact with the wine are smooth and accessible for quick and easy cleaning. The HECLIPSE tasting tap offers you these advantages with its three versions: MACON, DIN or CLAMP.

Two other versions are available to adapt easily and aesthetically to your new concrete tanks and wooden tanks.

Density and temperature measurement without removing sample

HECLIPSE allows you to use the PARTITION TIP which offers you the possibility of measuring the density and temperature of the wine without taking out a sample.

Taking density and temperature are recurring operations which require samples to be taken out. This results in a loss of time, wasted wine and a risk of spoilage of the sample. With the HECLIPSE PARTITION TIP, you can carry out these operations directly inside the tank using an electronic densimeter (type Anton Paar DMA 35 BASIC) and a needle thermometer.

The TIP is positioned on aHECLIPSE tasting tap. The tasting tap can then be opened to introduce any rod with a diameter of 4mm without the wine leaving the tank.
